There is mostly dry, subtropical desert climate in south Sinai -
virtually no rainfall. Excellent conditions for a beach holiday on
the Red Sea are given from February to November. During this period,
the temperatures are generally over 25 °C (77 °F). From May to
October it gets very warm, with night temperatures rarely below
22 °C (71.6 °F). The low humidity makes the heat bearable, however.
Winter nights can be quite cold. The average water temperature in
summer is 27 °C (80.6 °F), in winter 22 °C (71.6 °F).
